Since 2015, the Taupō Islamic Centre has grown from a humble gathering of families into a thriving hub of worship and connection for Muslims across Aotearoa and beyond. Nestled at the gateway to New Zealand’s stunning Central Plateau, our centre welcomes both local residents and global visitors seeking prayer, peace, and purpose.

Now, we are ready to build a purpose-designed two-story mosque to serve our expanding community. This new masjid will include:
